Judo Ground Holds
Ground holds (Osaekomi waza) are one of the the cornerstones of Judo, and if you learn them well, you'll be extremely well-equipped to win Judo matches!
They will also provide you with a solid base from which to work submissions and strikes (in MMA-style fighting), control and fatigue your opponent, and keep yourself out of danger.
Of course, escaping from ground holds is important too! Click here for judo ground hold escapes.
