Okuri Ashi Harai - Assisted Ankle Sweep (circular step) In this one-step circular version, uke is a partial step ahead of tori. Tori pulls up strongly on uke's gi, moves his hips in to assist in the sweep at the same time as he takes a wide step to the right in a circular motion. With the ball of his foot, tori sweeps out uke's trailing leg at the ankle.
In our version, the upper body motion was so strong, causing Dave to avoid touching Mike's leg at all. We'll replace this version in the future.
